About Codelvia

Codelvia did not start in web development: it started with almost eight years in IT support, since December 2018. Machines that would not boot on a Monday morning, backups nobody had ever verified, networks held together with patches, and users waiting to get on with their work.

In order: helpdesk at a large consultancy, three years at an official electronics service centre, three and a half years running the systems of an architecture studio, and today N1 and N2 support with Oracle databases. Along the way: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune and Windows Server, plus real networking — VLANs, WiFi and firewalls.

Web development is not a recent pivot either: it is the underlying training, a vocational degree in Web Application Development on top of a degree in Administrative Computing Systems. Both halves have coexisted for years, and that is exactly what is on offer here.

That leaves one specific habit, and it is the part that matters if you are hiring us for a website: when you have been the one taking the nine-in-the-morning phone call, you build things so they do not break.

That is why we insist so much on owning your code, on backups that are actually restored, and on delivering a site with its documentation. It is not a marketing stance: it is what we missed when we were the ones who had to fix the problem.
