Before moving into web development we worked in IT support: machines that would not boot on a Monday morning, backups nobody had ever verified, networks held together with patches, and users waiting to get on with their work.

That leaves two things. First, we still provide that service: IT maintenance and support for small businesses and practices in Madrid. Second, and more relevant if you are hiring us for a website, a specific habit: when you have been the one taking the nine-in-the-morning phone call, you build things so they do not break.

That is why we insist so much on owning your code, on backups that are actually restored, and on delivering a site with its documentation. It is not a marketing stance: it is what we missed when we were the ones who had to fix the problem.
